Following the success of F1 2020, F1 2021 & EA SPORTS F1 22, I continued to create promotional assets for EA SPORTS F1 23.
In this role I made multiple contributions to the game's promotional efforts & communication strategy, including the following:
• In-game photography & generation of marketing screenshots for various campaign beats and partners.
• General support on marketing asset development & publication.
• Creation of various social media assets & support on social media publication.
With EA SPORTS WRC releasing in late 2023, my attention temporarily shifted more towards rally & away from Formula 1.
Regardless, I still made key contributions towards EA SPORTS F1 23 in its run-up to launch, along with additional support post-launch.

Las Vegas Circuit Reveal
The headline race of the 2023 Formula 1 season was an all-new event at Las Vegas, incorporating the world famous Las Vegas Strip as part of the circuit layout.
As the most hotly anticipated event of the year, EA SPORTS worked together with Formula 1 to showcase the circuit in-game, several months before its real-world debut.
For this project, I worked on promotional screenshots of the circuit & its accompanying Las Vegas-themed livery that was offered as a pre-order incentive.
Additionally, I drove in an in-game race for its world exclusive reveal, which premiered on Formula 1's social channels, providing capture for production teams to build the hero asset around.

EA SPORTS F1 23 Promotional Screenshots
As with previous titles, I took the lead on promotional screenshot generation for EA SPORTS F1 23, up until early September when my focus shifted fully towards the EA SPORTS WRC project.
Following the success of one-off designs in the previous two games, several Formula 1 teams partnered with EA & Codemasters to release exclusive content in line with their real-world activity.
Notable examples include McLaren celebrating their Triple Crown heritage, Red Bull running a themed design for the Miami Grand Prix, Alfa Romeo paying tribute to their legacy at their home race, and Williams running a fan-voted Gulf livery in Singapore.
This was the last year in which I took the lead on screenshot generation, and one in which I produced some of my best work.

Scuderia Ferrari Italian GP Livery
For the third year in a row, Scuderia Ferrari partnered with EA & Codemasters to celebrate their home race with a one-off design.
Taking cues from the Le Mans-winning Ferrari 499P, the Scuderia's Italian GP design featured flashes of yellow, mimicking the sportscar prototype.
As in previous years I handled all static imagery of the virtual design, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to provide a set of images that met their needs.
Scuderia Ferrari used these images as the foundation of their official reveal of the livery, with the virtual version hitting the track in line with its real-world appearance.

McLaren Photo Mode Contest
In the run-up to the release of EA SPORTS F1 24, players could receive McLaren's 2024 livery in EA SPORTS 23 by pre-ordering the '24 game.
As part of the promotional efforts for '24, McLaren hosted a photo mode contest in '23, challenging players to take their best and most creative shots with the 2024 livery.
As the in-house expert on the game's Photo Mode tools, I took the promotional images for this contest, showing that was possible with them while also highlighting the car's striking livery design.
This project was a fitting culmination of my years of screenshot work as I was able to put all of my experience and learnings into a set of remarkable images.
I also made a guest appearance on McLaren's gaming channel, giving players a crash course in how to take stunning shots.
