Building on the momentum of F1 2020 and F1 2021, I continued my content creation work on EA SPORTS F1 22, the first Codemasters title to beat the EA SPORTS name after the company was acquired in 2021.
In this role I contributed to multiple aspects of the game's communication strategy, including but not limited to the following:
• Performance driving and gameplay capture for various trailers and videos.
• Thumbnail image creation for the majority of the game's trailers and videos across all social platforms.
• Conception, development, production, voiceover, editing & publication of all educational content for the game's social channels.
• In-game photography & generation of marketing screenshots for events, teams, sponsors & owned media.
• General support on marketing asset development & publication.
I continued to work on DiRT Rally 2.0 during this time, as Social Media & Community Manager.
Racing 101 Tutorial Series
Following the success of the F1 2021 Beginner's Guide, I expanded on educational content creation with a multi-part series for EA SPORTS F1 22.
For this series of videos, I led on production, editing & publication, by building the lesson plan, writing the scripts, preforming the voiceover, capturing B-Roll, editing the videos & arranging YouTube publication.
Leaning on my skill and experience as a long-time player & my personal success as a content creator, the series took players on a journey from being a novice or new player all the way up to becoming an expert that could handle the game's toughest challenges.
Hot Lap Series
Following some successful initial attempts in F1 2021, I expanded my video production capabilities for EA SPORTS F1 22 by creating a series of Hot Lap videos in line with the real-world race schedule.
Due to the quick turnaround demands of a Formula 1 season calendar, I built an efficient workflow for capturing, editing & versioning videos and thumbnails, for both YouTube and short-form social media.
This resulted in a high content quality & quantity for several months after the game's release, with over a dozen race weekends covered.
I also improved upon my performance driving skills for this series in order to drive at a high pace level, so that these videos provided tangible educational value.









EA SPORTS F1 22 Promotional Screenshots
With 2 years of Formula 1 screenshot experience under my belt I continued to make meaningful contributions to the series' promotion with EA SPORTS F1 22.
Using the game's Photo Mode tools to their full potential, while also experimenting with enhanced features through developer tools, I continued to create dynamic and engaging imagery that highlighted the excellent work of the game's many artists and developers.
Approximately 1,000 images were taken over the course of the season, which were used across all touchpoints of the campaign, from social media and web to third party support, exports, earned media & more.




Scuderia Ferrari Italian GP Livery
Following the successful release of a one-off Red Bull livery in 2021, Codemasters & EA SPORTS further developed relationships with Formula 1 teams in 2022.
Celebrating their 75 year history, Scuderia Ferrari ran a special livery design at their home race, the Italian Grand Prix. The drivers also ran one-off helmets and race suits.
I was once again tasked with creating the in-game promotional images of the car, working with internal and external stakeholders to shoot a set of images that best showcased the design and met the needs of all partners.
