Following the success of F1 2020, I was once again tasked with creating promotional assets for the following game in the series, F1 2021.
In this role I contributed to many various aspects regarding brand communication, including but not limited to the following:
• Performance driving and gameplay capture for multiple trailers, clips and videos
• Thumbnail image creation for the majority of videos across YouTube, Twitter, Facebook & Instagram
• Development, recording, editing and publication of F1 2021's educational content on YouTube
• In-game photography and generation of official screenshots for events, teams, sponsors & other outlets
• General assistance with marketing asset development and publication
I continued to work on DiRT Rally 2.0 during this time, as that title remained my primary focus at Codemasters.
F1 2021 Beginner's Guide
After a successful experiment on my personal channel in 2020, I worked on the official beginner's guide for F1 2021.
Leading on the production and editing, I wrote the script, provided the voiceover work, captured the gameplay footage and edited the final video.
Support and feedback was provided by various asset production teams within Codemasters before the video released in time for the game's launch.
F1 2021 Supporting Videos
In addition to the official Beginner's Guide, I also lead production on a number of promotional videos using in-game assets.
These would involve performance capture, editing and integration of the game's visual identity for brand consistency.

F1 2021 Promotional Screenshots
After handling post-launch photography in F1 2020, the quality of my work lead to me taking lead on promotional screenshot creation for F1 2021.
Screenshots of each team's car and driver were created on a regular basis, following the real-world season's calendar while also promoting the game's various content updates.
Each image used the game's Photo Mode tools to its full potential, highlighting the game's visual quality and real-world authenticity.
Many images were used by Formula 1 teams, sponsors and event promoters throughout the season and the game's life cycle.

Red Bull Honda Tribute Livery
One screenshot project of note was the Red Bull Honda Tribute Livery.
The team's livery was created to celebrate their relationship with Honda, and ran at the 2021 Turkish Grand Prix, after the Japanese Grand Prix was cancelled.
This was the first "special livery" to be revealed by a Codemasters videogame alongside its real-world counterpart, thanks to the studio's strong relationship with Red Bull Racing and the success of recent titles.
I worked with Codemasters' game development team to produce screenshots and b-roll of the virtual car and the team's work prior to its official reveal, which were shared by the various partners on social media and also displayed on Formula1.com.
