The iFE.20 is BMW's second factory entrant into the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, having first entered the sport as a competitor in Season 5 (2018/2019). This Season 6 car uses a spec chassis like all entrants, with the manufacturer having more development freedom in the electric powertrain. It is piloted in the 2019/2020 Season by Alexander Sims and Maximilian Günther.
The livery is one of the most striking on the entire grid, as it's asymmetrical and generally ignores the natural bodylines of the car. The main focus is on subtle shifts from blue to violet, which BMW calls "the colours of electricity". A constellation pattern can be seen throughout and the design is held together by large sections of black and white.
