Haas F1 Team started competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship in 2016, and is currently the only American F1 team in competition. In its initial years of racing it competed in the red, white and grey colours of Haas Automation Inc. but after acquiring Rich Energy as a title sponsor for the 2019 season the team's colours changed to black and gold.
The Haas VF-19's livery is predominantly black, with gold flashes to signify its new title sponsorship. All other sponsors and partners on the car are coloured in white, providing a stark contrast to the car's black base. Romain Grosjean and Kevin Magnussen will be the team's primary race drivers in 2019.
