In early 2020 Williams Racing intended to use a red, white and blue livery in line with their former title sponsor ROKiT (Pocket Livery Here). In the months that followed that partnership was terminated, and Williams saw this as an opportunity to freshen their brand with a new look car, ahead of the delayed 2020 FIA Formula 1 World Championship season opener in Austria.
The new Williams design is predominantly white, with blue and navy accents throughout. A flowing wave stretches from the nose all the way to the rear of the car, with the rear end also incorporating a subtle chevron pattern. Logos are presented in dark colours, which stand out well against the white sections of the car.
