The Ferrari SF1000 is the Italian team's latest entry into the FIA Formula One World Championship, the name a reference to their 1000th Grand Prix appearance, which will happen in 2020. The team retains its driver lineup of Sebastian Vettel and Charles Leclerc.
As with the SF90 (Pocket Livery here) the SF1000 is predominantly red and while on the surface it appears to be a plain design there are several nuanced elements at play. For a start, there are 2 treatments of red on the car, a matte finish covering the majority (as it did on the SF90) and a gloss towards the rear of the car.
The Italian Tricolore appears in multiple places in addition to its usual spot on the nose, most notably on the engine cover and in front of the sidepods. The design is rounded off with a combination of black lining and bare carbon surrounding the base of the car and rear wing end plates, with the driver numbers styled as a tribute to the 1979 Ferrari 312 T4.
